COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Society are developed by concerned individual! This is the philosophy behind our social services. This will involve technological services, events, project geared towards public interest, open source software. Community members will be required to volunteer their skills, knowledge and experience for the betterment another.
We are concern with only those activities that will help in technological development of the society. This we do through social as well as business services rendered. As a community, in line with our vision and mission, what we do include but not limited to the ones listed below
TECHNOLOGY LITERACY CAMPAIGN
According to a famous Canadian-American psychotherapist and writer Nathaniel Branden– “The first step towards change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.” In whatever we intend to achieve, it starts by becoming aware of what is happening in the technological world, the opportunities, and above all letting the people become aware of themselves. We therefore take series of initiatives aim at educating people on everything tech, we do this by using different media channels (traditional and modern), sensitization campaign in school, churches etc.
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Technology is dynamic, all our members are periodically take up trainings to ensure there are up to date with cutting edge skills and knowledge. This is done through team or at individual base while we monitor the progress
MENTORSHIP
This is a relationship between two people where the individual with more experience, knowledge, and connections is able to pass along what they have learned to a more junior individual within a certain field. This will help the young people learn from mistakes other made, and ensure young people take the right decision. It also transfers those skills in which only “age” and “years of experience” can teach to young people. This is done through various mentorship program.
ADVOCACY
As a Community, we serve as a voice on issues threatening technological development.
CONFERENCE/WEBINAR
We organizes, seminars, conferences for different categories of people targeted at meeting their need. we convene expert and beginners to share knowledge and exposed ourselves to new technology. We also create platform where problem meet solution providers and both brainstorming way forward.
HACKATHON
As a team, we organize as well as participate in Hackathon
