Google Debuts Smart Glasses With Real-time Language Translation:

Tech giants Google have unveiled a smart pair of glasses that uses Google Translate to churn out translated subtitles which would be displayed on the lenses of the wearer for real-time translation. Google’s director of product management Eddie Chun said that the technology when fully developed would help bridge the language barrier. Google also showed that a deaf person could use the smart glasses to help them understand people who haven’t learned sign language.   

Meta Updates Privacy Policy To Show Users How The Company Uses Data:

Facebook’s parent company Meta has announced updates to its privacy policy. The company states that the changes are designed to convey a clearer picture of how the company deals with user data. Meta is also updating its Terms of Services to better explain what is expected from the company and those who use its platforms. The company has had been in the limelight of late for concerns pertaining to its use of user data.

Starlink Receives License To Operate In Nigeria:

The SpaceX operated satellite-internet company, Starlink, have received licenses from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to begin operations in the country. The company owner, Elon Musk, made this announcement via his Twitter handle on Monday. Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency broadband internet across the globe and orders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-orders are available now on the company website.
